About Wolfgang
Short Bio
Born in 1971, lives and works in Vienna and internationally. As a self-taught artist free of academic conventions, he developed a huge Oeuvre and individual language over the last 20 years until now. Since diagnosed with muscle-dystrophy, he follows his path as an interdisciplinary artist and curator of visionary projects.
Present works and projects are the „PlanetSound“ Project, „SoundHelmet“, „WeltenRaum“ series and „Circle of Peace“ with his inflatable objects, large-scale paintings, photography, painting/object performances. He worked with and learned from Chinese artists, the Zhou Brothers. Wolfgang also practiced East-Asian Calligraphy and painting with his Japanese Zen-Calligraphy-Master in the USA. He is a trained architect and art-therapist.
